Then to top off our wonderful weekend, some of David's family and Mom and Dad came to visit us too. I tell you what, having family over is so neat! To share with them your home and make them feel welcome is great!
We were planning on Mom and Dad coming, but to our surprise so did Brennan, Jacquie, Colson, and Victoria. I'm soo glad they all came! It really was a surprise!! Since Mom's birthday was on Thursday of last week, we didn't get to celebrate. So, we thought we would celebrate now too!!
After we all hung out for bit, we all started to get hungry. So, David took us all out to dinner, but it was a surprise, where? LONESTAR!!!!! David and I love that place, but we know that is Mom's favorite restaurant too, so all the better!!!! Then after a filling dinner, we came back to the apartment, relaxed and then had some desert and sang happy birthday! Oh, but that reminds me, i left something out. Back at the restaurant, David secretly talked with our waitress and told her to sing happy birthday to her, but to make it even more special and say she was turning "50"!!!!! The look on her face was priceless!!!! We were all laughing soo hard. In case someone doesn't know, Dad turned 50 this year, and Mom is still just shy of 50. Soo, anyway, that was funny. Overall, we had a blast!!!
Thank you for coming you guys! You truly made us and our home feel warm! It was such a wonderful time! We'll have to do it again soon sometime!

let the good times roll...can't wait until we can come see your place--and you our place! Although you may be in a newer place by the time we are up there again... All that to say, glad you had a WONDERFUL weekend!
